Today, we are
introducing our brand new, designed just for our Bloggers – “Snowbuddies”
embroidery patterns. This design will
have 12 individual blocks, one for each month.
We suggest that
these patterns be traced with a red or brown pigma pen onto an 8” X 8” white
cotton background square. (3/4 yd White for 12 blocks) Simply place the pattern on your light box,
center the fabric square over it and trace lightly. A sunny window works well, too! Our block is
Backstitched in one strand of 12 wt. Sulky Embroidery thread – color #1169.
Talk about
Coloring Outside of the Lines….lots of options…..You could enlarge or shrink
the pattern design after printing it off.
You can stitch in whatever color thread you like, or use a variety of
colors. Talk about color….you can shade
with crayons after your embroidery is complete.
At the end of one year, you will have 12 blocks to put together into a
fun “Snowperson” wall quilt. I will
have finishing instructions with the last block – May 2013. Need help? Finding fabric, thread and
pens….let us know at 970-686-6346, we can ship to you.
For Anyone
that Subscribes to this Blog or leaves a comment….We will have a drawing on May 15 for 3/4 yd
White Fabric, 1 Spool of Sulky Thread and 1 pigma pen. Winner will be posted. Good Luck!
”Mini
Moments” by Savannah –
I love to
dance! I have been dancing for 7
years. I am on a performance dance team
called – “Dawning Light.” We are 10 – 12
years old. I am the youngest and
smallest. My Tee Tee tells me that I
have big talent. We dance to Christian
music and I am able to interpret the dance through the words of the song. I practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A week ago I danced during our church
services to a song called “Our God is Greater”.
It was really fun.
My favorite
bible verse is – I can do all things through Christ who brings me
strength.
Phillipines
4:13.
I hope you will
share this with other girls or daughters or granddaughters. I would love to hear from them. I will be sharing special things with them
and writing in every post. Next time I
will share my recipe for Banana Crème Pie.
